Are you interested in starting a career in the trades? Vermont Works for Women invites you to apply for Trailblazers, a free, seven-week training program in construction and renewable energy skills for women and gender-expansive individuals 18 and over.

The program provides a safe, non-judgmental environment for participants to build skills, gain confidence, and explore fields that tend to be male-dominated. No prior experience is necessary.

Classes will be held two evenings a week, and all day Saturday. Throughout the program, participants will get hands-on experience through shop time, will build projects, and will have the opportunity to participate in a paid onsite work experience with a local employer.

Applications close May 13.
